Artist Story

I’m Tati Harumi, the artist behind Aiyra Mandalas. I paint floral mandalas on wood, blending flowers with sacred geometry. Aiyra means “she who walks free” in Tupi-Guarani, an indigenous language of Brazil, my home country, and that meaning is really the heart of everything I create.

My journey with mandala painting started three years ago, when I picked up a brush in search of a deeper connection with myself. What began as a quiet personal practice slowly grew into my own art style, and eventually my life’s work.

I live in Southern California now with my husband and our puppy Shogun, surrounded by daily inspiration. One of the most meaningful parts of this journey has been the community I’ve found along the way, artists and students who understand why this work matters to me.

Today I teach my style to women around the world through my online membership, Meditative Art Painting (MAP). My approach blends breathwork and intuitive painting with technique broken down in a simple, approachable way. I guide students to slow down, quiet the mind, and let the work come from a place of presence instead of perfection.

I also designed my own line of brushes for floral mandala work, made to help students paint with more ease and joy.

At the heart of it, I hope my art invites people to trust their intuition a little more, and to walk their own path freely, one mandala at a time.
