I'm Demi Davidson, a Utah-based artist, educator, and creator of Thoughtful Dots, a creative community dedicated to helping people discover the joy and mindfulness of mandala painting.

I discovered mandala painting in 2020 during one of the most transformative seasons of my life. Newly sober, I was searching for a creative outlet to keep both my hands and my mind busy as I navigated this new chapter. I stumbled across mandala painting on Pinterest and was instantly intrigued. What I expected to be a creative pastime quickly became so much more. Through the meditative process of mandala painting, I discovered a sense of peace, purpose, and healing that I hadn't expected.

As I began sharing my work online, I realized I wasn't alone. Mandala painting has become a source of healing for people around the world. Through Thoughtful Dots, I've taught thousands of students through online classes, educational resources, and artist-designed tools. Along the way, I've noticed a common thread within our community: many people discover mandala painting during seasons of healing, transition, or personal growth. Whether they're recovering from loss, navigating life's challenges, or simply looking for a slower, more mindful creative practice, I've watched this art form become a meaningful part of people's journey.

Today, my mission is to make mandala painting approachable for artists of all skill levels while creating a welcoming space where creativity inspires mindfulness, connection, and personal growth.
